Charged with responsibilities ranging from bylaws development to evaluating board and committee structures, the committee acts as a guardian of our governance principles, striving to uphold the integrity and effectiveness of our organization.
We recognize the importance of compliance with the Ontario Not For Profit Corporations Act (ONCA), have diligently reviewed and revised our bylaws to meet these legal requirements.
This adherence is crucial for legal standing, improved governance, enhanced accountability, protection of members and stakeholders, access to benefits, and risk mitigation.
