Who Are We?

The Sudbury Real Estate Board became a member of the Canadian Association of Real Estate Boards (now known as the Canadian Real Estate Association) on January 1, 1950 and granted the members in good standing the use of the term REALTOR®. The Sudbury Real Estate Board was officially incorporated as a non-profit organization on October 26, 1962. The Sudbury Real Estate Board hosts the Multiple Listing Service® (MLS®) and currently represents over 350 REALTORS®.

As a member of the Ontario Real Estate Association (OREA and the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA), it is incumbent upon the Board to know and understand all legislation eminently qualified to meet your needs. Current Board of Directors

Part of the Community

Greater Sudbury is the best of both worlds – a vibrant metropolis combined with unspoiled wilderness – giving its citizens boundless opportunities while living and growing in the city.

We value being part of our community and the neighbourhoods we serve. Throughout the year our organization with the support of our membership, donates, volunteers and gives back to the people that help make our city so special. We encourage our members to give back to the community. It’s our people that make the difference and our people that help build a sense of home in Greater Sudbury.

Giving Back

The Sudbury Real Estate Board is a strong believer in giving back to the community we serve. Throughout the years the board and its members have generously donated to local organizations that are making a difference in our community.

2017 REALTORS Care® Foundation Grant Cheque Presentations

The Sudbury Real Estate Board raised $11,867.36 that was distributed to eight charities focusing on providing shelter-related services. It is such a perfect fit for Realtors® to help support these charities since the heart of our industry is helping people find homes,” said Caroline McDonald, 2017 Interim President of the Sudbury Real Estate Board. “Our Realtors® are incredibly generous with their time and financial support and it’s wonderful to have the opportunity to meet those local charities that will benefit directly from that generosity.”

The Sudbury Real Estate Board Members donate monthly to raise funds that are distributed through the annual grants.

The eight charities selected for 2017 were:

Sudbury Manitoulin Children’s Foundation

Sudbury Y.W.C.A Genevra House

Inner City Home of Sudbury

Maison McCulloch Hospice

March of Dimes Non Profit Housing Corporation

Pregnancy Care & Infant Food Bank

Sudbury Kinsmen Family Centre Foundation

Canadian Mental Health Association (Sudbury/Manitoulin)
