A cheque for $1,106.34 was presented to the March of Dimes Non-Profit Housing Corp. on behalf of the Members of the Sudbury Real Estate Board from the REALTORS Care® Foundation. Accepting the cheque on behalf of the organization, was Deanna Chisholm-Tullio. Presenting the cheque on behalf of the Sudbury Real Estate Board was 2019 President, Dreena Gilpin.
“The Homelessness Network, through its LEAD agency, Centre de santé communautaire du Grand Sudbury, in its contract with the City of Greater Sudbury,has the mandate to house persons who present with a long history of homelessness and who often present with serious health and social challenges.
With your help, you enable us to purchase very much needed housing start up supplies such as cutlery, home cleaning supplies and materials, mattresses, items that make an apartment feel like home. Although these may seem like “little things”, these are essential in helping persons feel at home and able to manage their new space.
We have been privileged to receive your generous grants for the past two years now, and they have been put to good use in our Direct Services program to the homeless.
